Yoga, Flow, Spirit

Movement is a Lifelong Journey

My intention is to offer my students an experience of connection, presence, and peace by journeying into themselves, bonding with their community, and developing a feeling of interconnectedness with the natural world.

In my Vinyasa and Hatha yoga classes, I offer flowing, moving meditation linked to breath and themed around my current spiritual inspirations.  I hope you feel release, mind-body harmony, rhythm and calm.  Join me for yin, and I invite you to find a softening in your mind, body, heart and spirit, as well as a sense of safety that invites you deeper into your own presence.  And no matter where we connect, I love to meet and care for you exactly as you are.

I am forever grateful for the ancient practice and science of yoga and I acknowledge and respect all of the incredible teachers who came before me to pass this lineage down so that I can be a channel to share it.

About Me

Moving my body has always been a part of my identity.  I grew up in California; I was raised in the Bay Area and I moved to San Diego to attend college at USD, where I competed for USD’s NCAA Division 1 tennis team.  Being a competitive tennis player was my whole existence until a back injury changed my life.  A doctor recommended yoga, and I found myself at my first class in 2010, nervous and unsure.  Yoga helped my recovery long term, and slowly over time as my body healed, my mind and spirit started to calm as well.

Yoga became my passion and I completed my teacher training in 2015 at Prana Yoga Center in San Diego, California with Gerhard Gessner and Sara Deakin, and I have been teaching ever since.  My teaching style is influenced by my passion for flow, athletic background, love of dance, my current spiritual inspirations, and care for learning about my students.

Most recently, I completed Reformer Pilates teacher training here in Sydney, Australia with BodyLove in 2024.  Pilates helped me through a challenging injury recovery in my early 30s, and it's something that I now am delighted to share.  I love offering this strong and mindful practice to empower my students to live pursue all their athletic pursuits with confidence.

Back home in California, my teaching experience included Bird Rock Yoga, Trilogy Sanctuary and finally CorePower Yoga, the largest family of yoga studios in the US.  In 2022, my partner and I relocated to Australia.  I now call Bondi Beach home, where I am grateful to respect the stunning beauty of Bidjigal, Birrabirragal and Gadigal land.  I would love to see you in class!
